Accidents If you have an accident on duty it is essential that you report this through the accident reporting system. There are legal and possibly disciplinary implications if you do not. The CWU Lead Safety Rep (see above) should automatically be sent a copy of any accident report by the company, however, particularly in more serious accidents or where time off work results, the Branch recommend that you contact either the Safety Rep or the Union Office directly as well as through the accident reporting system.
